Fashion Revolution is a global movement that happens across 90 countries every year, celebrating fashion as a positive influence, encouraging people to consider how their clothes are made and whether or not it is fair to the environment and the people who made them. We believe change starts from awareness, and change is possible. Together, we celebrate those who are on a journey to create a more ethical and sustainable futures for fashion.
Fashion Revolution Week is our #whomademyclothes campaign at the end of April, in commemoration of the Rana Plaza Collapse, which killed 1,138 garment workers in Bangladesh and injured many more on 24th April 2013. During the week, we encourage as many people as possible to join the Fashion Revolution by asking brands and retailers #whomademyclothes. With this simple question, we can call for brands to be transparent and change the way how our clothes are made.
